known limits;; Matt learned his limits well and has the scars to prove it. When he was young he took control of the power of a pyrokinetic. he knew he had never used this skill before and had only experienced speedster skills. Mat enjoyed the skill for awhile though and before long he had learned most of the basic skills of the pyrokinetic. Then he wanted to try for more fire and more power. The flames rage but the were out of his control. Matt was burned badly on his legs. They are forever scared and a constant reminder of the use of self control. Now before using a new power Matt always checks how the original uses it and learns some from them before using it himself.

Matt and Jake had been good friends for a long time and lived next door to each other. Everyday they would hang out at the park an play games of basketball or swing on the swings. They always had fun together. Then one day while they where at the park playing basketball Matt shot and and missed the goal very badly and hit and older kid in the head.
The Kid stormed over and started yelling at Matt 'Hey twerp watch what your doing. I'll teach you to never do that again." The Kid pulled his arm back and Matt thought of how Jake had stone skin and how punches didn't hurt him. Matt concentrated on Jake and the kid hit him the the stomach. Matt didn't feel a thing. "Wait what I didn't feel anything."Matt thought to himself. He looked up and saw the bully hold his hand and crying.
Ever since that day Matt realized that he was special anytime he met someone with a power he just had to concentrated on the power and the person and he would have the same ability for a couple of hours. His is how Matt realized his power.

Natural Leader: Matt is a natural leader. He loves to take charge and help people out no matter what the task. He is rather well at helping people and deal with their problems and is always there to help his friends. This is part of why he is such a great leader. Being a natural leader always seems to help him out. The main reason he is a great leader is because he doesn't care what other people think and
he just takes charge
Charming: Matt has always had a certain charm about him. This charm seems to attract people to him and always helps him meet new people. He is just fun be be around and is always thinking of something to do to keep himself and others having fun. He never has a dull moment and if you like have something to do at all time then Matt is your guy. From his intriguingly cute smile to his amazing randomness Matt is just a fun person be with or just be around. Matt is able to talk to most anyone easily without being embarrassed and he enjoys talking to random people he doesn't even know. The only time he gets embarrassed is when there is a girl he likes around then he tries to act normal and not be himself and ends up just being awkward.
Funny: Matt is funny and just plain fun to be around. He is always joking and can keep you entertained for hours on end just by listening to him. He tries to not be funny but, in his sad attempt in not being funny he still is and causes even more laughs. He enjoys having fun with anyone he is around and can have fun with just about anyone. The only time he isn't funny is when he is around a girl he like and he is trying to be serious. Being serious usually doesn't work for him and he ends up just making the moment awkward.
Random: Matt is extremely random. He does the strangest things but, ends up have an amazing time doing them. Like walking in random stores and asking to try on girls clothes. The usually says random things at random times to. This adds to the comically effect he already has.
Controlling: Matt's one pitfall is that he is controlling. he uses other people for his owns needs and sometimes doesn't even care what they think about the matter. He espically does this with is power just using what ever power he wants when he wants it. He is usaully caring but, when your in his way or ghe needs something you better watch out.

A few years later on his thirteenth birthday was when his next incident happened. Matt had just met a new friend who lived down the block from him, Daniel was his name and he was a pyrokinetic . He played with him and Jake together now they where good friends and enjoyed play video games and such together.
Today was the day of Matt's thirteenth birthday though and all his friends where over. Daniel was showing off lighting the candles on Matt's cake with his fingers. Matt thought that would be a fun power so he concentrated on his friends Daniel and thought about fire and shoot a flame out of his hand and it lit up one of the candles. He had it his second power he had used.
Later that day he and Daniel where play behind is house with so toys and making fire and racing R/c cars through hoops of fire. They where having a good time. When Matt decided he wanted a huge hoop of flames and he was making it bigger and bigger finally he couldn't make it any bigger it collapsed and the flames surged back towards him burning his legs severely. He Daniel carry him home and his mother took him to the E.R. He spent three weeks in the ICU and finally was aloud out two weeks later.
Matt has learned alot since then. He follows a very strict code of rules he sets for himself. Before he uses a power he must learn all he can about it. Second he must be careful with the new ability never pushing its limits and third if he can combine two powers to make one more stable it is the best idea to try and do it. He is now much smart and more intelligent then he was back then and will never hurt himself or someone he loves again.

To most people it was a terrible day out. Rain and thunder had encompassed most of the town of Forks. It was days like these that Emmett loved more than any. It was a perfect day for a good old baseball game. Emmett sat in his room lifting weights as he waited for the others to get ready.
As Emmett finished his workout Rosalie ran into his room. "Its time to go everyone is ready." She said "Edward went off to get his wonderful girlfriend Bella." she continued very annoyed. "Lets go then." Emmett said "I'll get the jeep." He said speedily as he ran to the garage.
Carlisle and the others came right behind him. With them the carried a few baseballs and an aluminum bat. Emmett started the truck and headed for the open field where they played. On the way Rosalie continued to complain about Bella and how she was only trouble for them.
Emmett arrived just as Edward and his date where pulling up. Esme and Alice unloaded the truck as Edward and Emmett talked. the game began with Alice pitching and and Jasper up to bat. Rosalie hit along it into the forest behind Edward and Emmett. Edward ran in and returned seconds later with a ball in hand. A long throw home and she was tag out by Esme. "Woo Out!" Emmett yelled and received a glare from Rosalie 'Come on babe its just a game."
Next up was Carlisle. The hit thundered of the bat and Emmett ran for it and jumped in to the air after the ball. As did Edward. With a sound like an explosion the two collided in mid-air. Carlisle scored easily. Emmett turned around and tossed the ball to Alice. Jasper took his turn to bat. Emmett ran the ball headed toward a tree. Emmett ran up the tree with lighting speed and caught the ball. Once again it was Rosalie's turn to bat. The ball came screaming off the bat. There was a silence and then out of the clearing came three Vampires. Emmett didn't know what to do all he knew was he had to protect Bella.
