known limits;; When Lola gets too stressed, her power seems to control itself and take over her body - she could hurt anyone without realizing it; when she gets too angry, she sees a white flashing light, and electricity can be seen in her eyes; and when she gets too drained (which she does easily thanks to her small body) and there is not an electrical device around to help recharge her body, she faints, tiny and weak zaps of electricity emitting from her fingertips.
power history;;Lola had always loved to play out in the rain. Her parents and even her sister had warned her that one day she would get struck by lightning. But Lola never payed them any mind. She continued to play outside in the pouring rain, whether it was thunder and lightning or just rain. She adored the way everything drawn on the sidewalk with chalk would simply just be washed away. She loved how wet her hair got and how curly. She would dance and dance out in what others would call gloomy weather, but to Lola it was magnificent.
Then what her mother and father and sister predicted came true. She was six years old at the time, playing in the backyard in the rain. The rain was slowing, and she was going to head inside to dry off. But then she heard a single, brain-rattling thunderclap. She looked up, in hope for more rain, but instead what she saw was something much different. A thunderbolt was headed right for her small body, and she opened her eyes wide. The next thing she remembered was lying in her bedroom, her mother weeping silently and her sister and father talking about maybe bringing her to the hospital. She looked at them quizzically, then stood and walked over to her mother. "Mommy, why're you crying?" she had asked.
Lola remembers what happened next with great vividness. Elizabeth looked up in shock and surprise and hugged Lola tightly, so tightly she could hardly breath. "Mama, let go... Mama please... Mommy!" With the last word she saw a flash of bright light and her mother shrieked, letting her go. She looked at Lola with puzzlement then it slowly dissolved into understatement. To Lola's surprised eyes, Elizabeth smiled. "Oh sweetie," she had said softly, "you're special again."
Now, nine years later, Lola understands what her mother meant. She had apparently had the power of electricity long before the lightning accident, just never quite as strong. The energy from the lightning, her mother had said, strengthened her, giving her the power to shock anyone and anything. Now Lola practices to keep her power under control - since that night she had felt a terrible guilt for shocking her mother, no matter how many times Elizabeth said it was okay. Lola is struggling to keep everything under control and use her power only when needed rather than wanted. Usually, it's the other way around.

Lola likes her mood to be brought out in the clothes she wears, and it varies from day to day, depending on how she's feeling. If she's feeling happy and outgoing, she'll wear bright and perky colors, like pink and light blue. If she's feeling calm and shy, she'll wear black and white. And if she's feeling down, expect her to wear dark brown and dark blue.FEISTY, SWEET, CUNNING

Lola is a feisty, outgoing girl who loves to party. She can dance with the best of them, and rock out with the skinheads. She likes to believe she's popular, and sets trends rather than follows them. She's generally really sweet, but cross her and you'll be surprised.
Lola loves to laugh. She smiles constantly, and rarely anything can bring her down from a good mood. She loves to get dressed up and go out... shopping! She always looks her best whenever she leaves the house, even when she throws on a pair of sweatpants and a tee-shirt. Her love of music has resulted in her teaching herself to play the guitar, and quite well. She has a rather small (yet perfect size for her) acoustic guitar that she keeps leaning against her back wall in her dorm. When she feels the need to express herself, she plays.
Lola likes girlie things. She's not a fan of r&b music or hip hop, but more of rap and rock, or rap/rock (she believes its easier to party to and gets her in the mood to dance). Despite her wild attitude and lifestyle, she couldn't help but to have fallen for a shy guy.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Lola Marie Harrison had a rather lovely childhood, give or take very few moments she'd love to take back. She was the second and last child of Elizabeth and Reed Harrison, her older sister Kristina being four years older than her. They shared a room ever since Lola was three, and unlike other siblings, they rarely ever bickered. In fact, they were always together. Every day they'd play with Lola's dolls or Kristina's stuffed animals, or even play sports or video games. Together, they were like the dynamic duo, always causing trouble and pulling pranks on the neighbors and sometimes, even each other.
As said above, Lola got her power - or more like strengthened it - when she only six years old. Lola tried her best to keep from throwing her childish tantrums as to not go and do something that she would soon regret. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't control her power at times and often caused damage to the house and a few times to her sister, by accident, of course. Through all of it, though, her sister didn't mind, or didn't care. They still played with dolls and stuffed animals, they still played sports, everything they used to except for video games - often Lola would tend to short-circuit the game system.
That continued until Lola was in third grade and Kristina was in eighth. Kristina had gone out to the movies with a few of her friends that were older than she. She had offered Lola to come with but Lola declined; she didn't like going out with people she didn't know. So she stayed home whilst Kristina went to the movies, but what she couldn't predict, what no one could have, was that she was to die on the way home, and that Lola would cry for months and months on end.
Late that same night, Lola and her parents were worried. They hadn't heard from Kristina, and she was supposed to have been home an hour and a half ago. It was nearing seven o' clock now. Kristina, they knew, would never be laet and not call. So what had happened? They turned on the news, and couldn't believe what they saw. It was Kristina's friend's car, wrapped around a pole. Elizabeth called the police right after - they said they couldn't say for sure as of right now; all four of the bodies in the car were wrecked up pretty bad. Elizabeth cried then, hoping and praying that it was not Kristina that was in the car. She had no such luck.
The police called back and identified one of the girls as Kristina Joy Harrison. When her mother cried harder after hanging up the phone, Lola knew. She knew from the moment her sister walked out of the door that something terrible would happen. Slowly, she stood from sitting on the floor and walked to her room. There, she began to cry and cry and cry, her eyes flashing and losing control of her power. She began to zap everything in her sight - her dolls, her bed, her walls. She even zapped her television, causing a rather loud explosion. Her parents came in then, looking around and trying to comfort her. Nothing worked.
Lola went through all of middle school thinking that somehow her sister's death was her fault. She felt like something bad was goign to happen, and it did. Why didn't she stop Kristina? Because I didn't want to feel like a loser, she had realized. After much persuasion and help from friends and family, Lola slowly began to believe that maybe she didn't have anything to do with it. Every now and again though, she'd think about her sister and cry, and still get and inkling that she was to blame for her sister's death. Now she parties to get her sister off her mind at times. Other times, she writes poems or listens to music.

The rain did scare some people, but Alyson welcomed the gloomy weather and loved it. She loved the way the rain droplets fell from the sky, watering the world. The way the water clung to your skin, your clothes, your hair. The way it smelled: fresh, clean... a new beginning, a new start at something. She wrapped herself in a thin sweatshirt and headed out of the door.
It was days like these that she could find solitude easily... nobody else ever went outside on these sorts of days, no sane people at least. Many people did think her insane, she probably was insane. No, she was just... different.
The hood of her sweatshirt was over her dark brown hair, the black sweatshirt material shielding her eyes and face. The dark eyes looked out at the world, not missing a thing at all. She was a very observant person, and not a thing got by her most of the time. Her feet, encased in black high tops, made no sound on the sand and she went at a slow pace.
She got to thinking of the many rainy days she had spent in the streets at night, dodging in and out of the shops, peering in the dark windows. Most of the adults had thought it odd to see a child, barely nine or ten, running about at such a late hour. But she was a dark, different soul. The she began to think of her sister. Her poor, poor sister...
She pushed Madyson out of her mind and went out toward the ocean, where the rain was most visible, pounding on the black surface. She pulled the hood over her head more, though some of the droplets did still get through to her. She was bored, very bored, and had anyone else been out here, she would've instantly pounced on them for conversation.
