known limits;; Miles gets grossed out by blood. Not only does it gross her out, but she gets sick to her stomach when she sees it. And if there is a substantial amount she’ll pass out. She also has asthma but it never seems to bother her under water.
power history;;Miles was only three when she first used her powers. She always knew they were there somehow, but that was when she first did anything with them. She discovered her sub skill first. Her father, not thinking, threw her into the ocean. Then realized what an idiot he was. (He was rather clueless…) He dove in after her only to find her sitting on the bottom breathing normally. He realized then what was going on, but he didn’t tell her mother and neither did Miles. Ever since then her father would take her out to the ocean every chance he got. And she thrived. Neither one of them really knew about her main skill, but the whole breathing thing was good enough for them.
Then everything changed. Miles’ mother kicked Greg out of the house, and refused to let him see Miles. Eventually they finalized the divorce, and then came custody rights. Greg and Miles both tried to convince the judge that she should be with him, but the judge sent Miles to live with her mom. And her mom refused to let her dad see her. It was that night that she realized her main skill. Her mother had been screaming at her and Miles had been screaming back when the small pond in the garden (where they were fighting) practically blew up. Eileen thought there was some weird scientific answer for it, but Miles knew the truth. She started working with her power, learning as much as she could about it.
After her mother remarried, Mile’s stepfather began to get violent. Miles ran away from it- as she always did- and went to live with Greg. She showed him what she had learned and together they explored what else she could do. When her father found out about Sententia he advised that she go. She wouldn’t have gone for anyone else, but she trusted her father more than anyone else.

assets;; Her legs. Miles has very long legs, and she shows them off quite frequently with shorts and skirts. She also wears a lot of anklets just to dress them up, even with long jeans.

distinguishing mark;; Miles has several unique marks. One wold be the small tattoo on the lower left part of her waist. It’s low enough that it’s usually hidden by her jeans, but if she wears low riders or almost any skirt you can see at least the top of it. The only person other than the tattooist and a few of her close friends to see it was her ex boyfriend, but she doesn’t discuss that incident. One of the others is her lower lip. During her daredevil childhood she fell while she was climbing a rock and cut the hell out of the right side of her lip. (Our right, her left) She actually had to have a botox injection to make it the same size as the other side.Miles is a rather pretty girl. Her appearance is far from perfect, but personally she likes it, and that’s all that really matters.
Dark brown hair falls midway down her back, though sometimes she’ll cut it shorter or let it grow longer. She even has extensions she puts in on occasion. Her hair is far from straight unless she straightens it. It tumbles and curls and rolls every which way. And it’s a terror to comb in the morning. She usually gets up an hour early just to deal with her hair. She likes to wear it down, especially because it invites people to play with her hair. Oddly enough she actually likes having people play with it.
Beneath her hair and a rather large forehead are two medium sized eyes. The color all depends on the time of day. In the morning, when Miles first wakes up, her eyes are usually a light green color. As the day goes on they turn into a dark hazel. And finally, just before noon, they finish their cycle and turn brown. The lashes surrounding the eyes are rather long. She’s never needed mascara, though she wears it sometimes anyway. Along with eyeliner. You can’t get her away from her eyeliner. Miles’ nose has been broken before, and it still retains a bit of crookedness. She doesn’t like it, and wants to get it fixed, but she can’t afford it yet. She still hasn’t fully decided if she should though.
The lips below her nose are rather full, though the bottom lip looks a little lopsided. The right side is a little fuller than a left because of a botox injection she had to get as a child when she fell off a rock. Miles has a rather strong jaw line and high cheekbones, both of which her father gave her. Her long neck, however, came from her mother, as did her, well, chest. She’s been accused of plastic surgery before but she would never go under the knife for that.
Miles has a rather nice body. She doesn’t work out that often; she’s active enough so it’s not necessarily. On occasion she will go to the gym though it’s mostly to relax, and look at guys.
As to Miles style? Well, it’s the one thing she prides herself on more than her acting skill. She follows a lot of the latest styles, but she gives them her own twist. She wears pretty much everything. Some of her clothes are a bit revealing, but not as bad as some girls can get. Unlike some girls who call themselves stylish, Miles doesn’t just stick with the high profile stores like Abercrombie or Hollister. Sure, she shops there, but she’s found some of her best pieces at thrift stores, garage sales, or even stuff she’s made herself.
As far as jewelry goes, she’s never seen without it. She’s always wearing at least one piece.

eccentricities;; Once she gets in the acting mood, it’s hard to get her out of it. If she gets too deep into a character she’s playing she actually starts to act like them on occasion.
When she’s trying to learn lines she paces, muttering them to herself.
She memorizes every single line in the play. All of them, just in case someone gets sick.
Miles pulls at her bottom lip when she is nervous.
When she’s bored in class she will not only doodle everywhere, but actually start to write scripts or stories on the edge of her papers. But she always erases them before she passes the papers in.
Sometimes she randomly thinks in French. When that happens she might go to speak and it will either be in French, or at least with the accent.
She has a tendency to quote plays she’s been in when it applies to her life.
Miles is, well, unique, as the kinder people say.
She’s a good friend to those who get close to her. Loyalty is one of her strongest traits. She’d do anything for a friend, and she’s not one of those people who go behind their friends back and talk about them. But when she gets angry-which isn’t often- most of her friends know where to be. Somewhere else. She can lash out pretty bad and isn’t afraid to throw a punch, though she usually won’t. Even when she does get angry though, she’s usually quick to forgive. She might simmer for a few days, but pretty soon she’ll go back and apologize.
Having a reputation of breaking things, Miles has had to get pretty good at repairing everything from priceless glass vases, to most of the technology she uses on a day to day basis. Of course, some things are beyond her repair ability, and she has, on occasion, taken something apart and not been able to figure out how to put it back together again. Usually at that point she finds the duct tape and tapes it back together. Unless it’s something electronic, then she gets Jason to fix it.
Miles can think on her feet pretty well. When she forgets a line in a play she can usually improv it with no problem, depending on how well she’s connected with her character. She has been known to use this talent to rap, though it’s usually as a joke. She can get kind of sarcastic with this, and not always in a nice way though she doesn’t mean to be mean. Most of the time anyway. She’s a good kid, even if there are certain people who don’t believe it. When Miles makes plans they don’t always turn out good, but her heart is usually in the right place.
Miles can be a bit of a daredevil. She likes to do crazy things to get her adrenaline pumping. She’s the one who always wants to do the stupid things that might get her hurt, or killed. She actually has scars from this habit. Pranks are another of her favorite hobbies, though quite a bit safer. Usually. April fool’s Day is her favorite day of the year. She’s changed furniture around in hotel rooms on people, she’s switched furniture from room to room in her house, and she once dressed up as an orangutan for a formal dance. She’s found the possibilities endless.
As you can see, Miles is a lot of fun to be around, but there are darker facets to her personality. For one, she’s easily persuaded in most things. Not all, she knows what she thinks as far as religion, style, and her personality. But she usually basis her opinions about minor stuff on what other people think. Depending on who that other person is. She can also be a little too outgoing, hogging the spotlight for herself. When she doesn’t get the lead in a play, she’s not only bummed out, she can get mad about it too.
And possibly the worst trait she has: she runs from her problems. She’s always been jealous of teleporters who can go wherever they want when the mood strikes them. She doesn’t just run mentally, she literally runs. For example: When she was five, and her gerbil died, she ran right out the door and spent the night at a friend’s house. When she was six, her father left and she ran to the beach. When her mother remarried, she ran from the wedding and missed it. When her best friend called her a slut, she ran. Since then she’s toughened up some, but she’s still very vulnerable.

On December 19th, 2004, a baby was brought into this world, screaming at the top of her lungs. She got over the whole screaming thing a few minutes later, much to fascinated with her surroundings. Her first few years of life were uneventful. She was a rather well behaved baby. She spent a lot of time on the beach with her parents, though it was usually just her father. That was how she discovered her powers.
See, her dad isn’t the smartest person in the world, and he threw her in the ocean. She could swim, but not that well. He realized what an idiotic thing to do that was and dove in after her. When he found her she was sitting calmly on the ocean floor, breathing the water like she did air. It didn’t take him long to put two and two together. He had heard rumors about the breeds, and was quite proud to have a daughter who was one of them. He never told her parents, and Miles- picking up on that- didn’t tell her either.
As she grew her father took her to the beach almost every day. He helped her work with her power until she could breathe under the water for an indefinite amount of time. Or rather, indefinite as far as they could tell. They still hadn’t discovered her main power. At the same time as this was going on, Miles and her father were growing very close. But they were both growing farther apart from her mother. Also while this was going on, Eileen began several affairs.
Eventually, she threw Greg out. Miles was crushed, and during the divorce she fought tooth and nail to live with her father instead of her mother. Somehow her mother won out. She kept Miles, but Jason went with her father. She was fighting with her mother about that when she discovered her main power. She worked with it as much as possible, trying to perfect it.
Miles was as far from her mother as possible. She never saw her father, Eileen wouldn’t allow it. For two years they lived in the same house, alone. This was part of the reason Miles threw herself completely into acting. It gave her an escape form what was going on in her life. It gave her a way to run away from it all.
Then Eileen met someone and they “fell in love.” Miles hated him. After they got married her step father became violent. He never touched her mother, Miles was his favorite target. She put up with it for a few years, but when he snuck into her room one night she had had enough. She ran away from home, straight to her dad’s place. He was happy to see her, though they both worried her mother would find her. But Eileen barely even noticed she was gone.
Miles showed her father what she had learned. He was impressed, and helped her as much as he could. Eventually he met someone else too, but Katherine was much nicer then Miles’ stepfather. They got married, and Sophie was born. It was her father who sent her to Sententia. Of course, he gave Miles her choice, but she went with his advice.
