Aimee ran into the room almost in tears. She could feel the power rushing through her veins and she was trying so hard at this point not to start crying. Everything was just happening so fast. One of her old friends back in Denver had called her and told her that her ex-boyfriend who she had broken up with before she came here since he didn't want a long distance relationship is now dating her best friend! How could he do this to me? Aimee thought to herself. She leaned against a sink in the bathroom and looked at the text on her phone that her friend, Hailey, had sent, it read: 'Hey, just texting you to see how your doing at the new school. Oh and I have some bad news.....Jake asked out Hailey, yeah, I know. He also said it was just to get back at you cause her heard a rumor saying you were already dating someone at your new school. I'm sooo sorry Aimee.' Yeah it was official life sucked.
She looked through her phone for Jake's number and quickly sent him a text message saying.'Hey, I heard about you and Hailey! How could you do that to me? You know me and her were best friends and I'm not dating anyone you jerk!?!? Thanks a lot!' Aimee sent the text message and then leaned against the wall next to the sink and tried to control her powers from reaching out and attacking a toilet or something. Could this day get any worse? She just wanted really to be left alone, but at the same time she wanted someone to comfort her. Aimee sadly is not the easiest person to comfort at times like these.

Addison walked into the bathroom, she had wanted to get out of control class for a while now. Just to text her mom and check up on things back in Florida. She couldn't wait for her daughter to get to the school, she missed her more then anyone could believe. She talked to her mother daily by texting, but had only called her once since she had been at the school.
Addison had always a sweet person, caring and kind. So when she walked into the bathroom and saw a girl she didn't know crying, she figured maybe she could cheer her up. After all she only wanted to help and she was normally rather good at helping others.
"Hey, are you okay?" she said giving a concerned look towards the girl. She hated to see people cry. "Whats wrong?" she asked as she moved closer giving her self a look in the mirror. Her hair was rather cute it was up in a pony tail with her bangs hanging down. Her makeup matched her blue shirt and little jean skirt. She smiled as she looked back at the girl. "I'm Addison Harther by the way." she added.

Aimee heard someone walk into the bathroom and quickly let her hair fall down over her face so she couldn't see her face. Aimee didn't like crying and letting someone else see her like this was out of the question. She sat there trying to breath and get the tears to go away, but it wasn't working. Why was she so emotional over this right now? Aimee wasn't normally a person to let something like this to get to her, but to be backstabbed like this was horrible and especially since she didn't have any of her other friends her to help her through this it was absolute torture. Aimee heard the girl starting to walk towards her and instantly regretted soming here.
She was lost in her own world by now, to worried about her powers lashing out and other things happening. She didn't really feel like being cheered up right now, it wasn't anything against this girl or anything. It was just that she was a person who was really mad never really listened to other people while she was mad. Her mom always said it was probably because she trying to focus on controling her powers and when people are trying to comfort her she can't focus and too many emotions get stirred up. She then heard the girl ask if she was okay and ask what was wrong.
"I'm fine." Aimee mumbled through trembling lips as she heard the girl say her name was Addison Harther. It was a pretty name, but Aimee wasn't really in the mood for complimenting on things right now. "I just need some time." She said taking a deep breath and trying to block everything out. Maybe if Addison didn't really say much Aimee could calm down the talk about it a little. Aimee tried to force a smile and look up at the girl, but it didn't happen. She just kept looking down at her feet.

Addison wanted to just roll her eyes at the girl and walk away. She didn't know what was wrong and at this point didn't care that much, or so she told herself...she did to a certain point. It made her feel bad when others were upset. Addison was always the type that when she had a bad day she wanted to cheer others up. She never understood people with control problems. Addison had control over her powers and was working towards complete control, she really hoped she would have it someday, but she wasn't sure from time to time if she could do that.
She tried to force a smile at the girl but just couldn't. Addison didn't know what it was about the girl but she seemed so rude. It made her wish that she had walked to the bathroom farther down the hall.
As Addison walked back a bit she started to mess with her hair. Addie wasn't normally the type to care about her looks. She looked over once more to the girl and smiled this time. She wasn't sure how fake it would look, but she decided it would be the best move at this point.
"So what's wrong?" she asked looking back at the girl once more.

Aimee looked up at the Addison. She saw her staring at her waiting for a reaction probably. She was never really to good with reading people. As she sat that she did see Addison have a little flicker in her eyes that came across as annoyance to Aimee. She didn't really think to much of it, but figured she was probably being fairly hard to deal with here.
Aimee took another deep breath and held it for a moment. She slowly let it out and looked up again as the she saw the girl staring in the mirror fixing her hair. She didn't know why this bothered her, but it seemed like the girl cared at first and now was blowing her off. Aimee knew she probably wasn't the easiest person to deal with, but the girl didn't have to just blow her off like this. Aimee took another deep breath and tried really hard not to lose control. She was okay with controling her power, but controling this certain gift was hard, and being aggravated made it even harder.
"Look, I'm just not having a very good day so far. You don't have to stay here if you don't want to." Aimee said in a sad, defeated tone, but it had a slight harsh edge to it. She didn't want to start this, but it seemed this is the way it was going. Well, if that's how she's going to be, two can play at that game.

Addison rolled her eyes as the girl started her fit. She had no clue what the heck her problem was. It wasn't Addie's fault she was acting like a four year old. If Addison had been a little ruder she would of said 'you know what, my 1 year old daughter acts better.' but she decided that would only give room for the little blond to insult her.
She decided to try to be caring one last time. "I'm sorry your not having a good day...I just came in here to text my mom..." Addison gave her an oddly hurt look. She wasn't exactly hurt just a little confused.
"Look sweetheart I don't want to play any game." she said smiling and laughing a little. Hopefully they could end up letting this go but Addison wasn't sure what the girl would say next. She seemed like the type of person who thought she was so great, pretty, popular, whatever....Addison kinda found it funny. The girl didn't know how Addison had connections, even though she had only bee there for about a week she had many close friends and was having a blast. This had been the first time she really had a problem.

Aimee took another deep breath, but lost it there it goes. The power was released and she held out her hands. Fireballs slowly formed in her palms and got bigger and bigger till they were about five times bigger than her head, somewhere around five feet high and three feet wide. Slowly, she let them go back down to size and looked at the girl. Luckily, Addison had stepped back so she wasn't hurt, but Aimee was thinking it would be interesting to see her silly little blonde head on fire. She was starting to really piss her off. Just what she needed.
Aimee laughed a very harsh cynical laugh and looked at the girl. "Well, just so you know don't call me sweetheart. My name is Aimee Hathaway, and don't treat me like a little kid." She said in an absolute dark voice. Her eyes were dancing with power and looked to be on fire. She smiled again as she felt the power flow through her veins and looked at the sink, there were a few bubbles in it and she slowly raised her and lit the bubbles on fire. The chemicals in the soap created a huge flame in the sink, and it slowly ebbed away as the bubbles were burned to a black ash. She looked back at Addison and gave her a death look.
"I was just in here to calm down and then you come in and try to cheer up and sure I was actually going to calm down and be nice, but no. You stand up and find that I'm not worth it or something and then continue to treat me like a little girl or something. Well, I am not someone to stand for that and I'm not going to let you be an exception." She said raising her hand and shooting a fireball right past her head into the trash can that caught on fire. Aimee stared intently at the trash can and her subskill went to work on letting the flame die down without setting the whole school on fire. Standing up she faced Addison and then turned and started for the door. She was done with that girl. It was official her day had just gotten worse.

Addison always had a calm head. She hated this little bitch already. What the hell was wrong with her. Addison decided two can play this game.
As she started to let the connections come to her the room started to spin. At least to her. As she felt the connections turn to her. The sink magicaly came on, the water poured out all over the sink. The mirrors shook on the walls, and the soap levatated. This was taking all of Addisons rage she couldn't lift anything else. Her power was running low and she could feel herself growing week. But her hate for Amiee was a good sorce for all of her power. She slung the soap at Aimee hitting the door and bouncing back and hitting Aimee. Addison didn't think she hurt her, maybe just scared, but she wanted nothing more then to punch the ugly duckling in the face.
If only Aimee had known all the friends and connections Addie had. All the rumors that would be spread. Addison could really ruin this girls life, and that was exactly what she was going to do. Addison pushed the girl out of her way and ran out of the door and down the hall back into class. She greeted her teacher kindly. "Sorry it took so long." her teacher then asked why and Addie explained how she had a run in with a crazy little girl in the bathroom.
Addison took a seat and created a link with her pen. She wrote 'that who laughs best, laughs last.' in her crappy handmenship. She was skilled with control, she could type very slowly on the computer and write very badly. It looked worse since she was super mad. If only the little girl had known what she just done. Aimee Hathaway. Her new victim...well not really since Addie was sweet and harmless, but rumors were always fun.

Aimee dodged the soap and looked back around at Addison. Gosh this bitch just wouldn't stop and she was starting to get really pissed. As Addison pushed her way by Aimee was knocked into the door and so she turned on her and watched as she walked into a classroom. Aimee smiled and walked down the hallway heading towards the classroom the girl was in. Yup, I'm gonna do it. Aimee thought as she stared at the girls head.
She watched as smoke arose from the tip of her ponytail and flames would probably soon start to start away at that pretty little head of hers. Aimee wasn't nice, she didn't play nice. "Have fun bitch." Aimee whispered under her breath as she stayed in the doorway for one last look at her dirty work. She then saw the flames hadn't started yet and it was just smoke right now, but she soon thought that it was probably best not to set her head on fire. Aimee might really be asking for trouble if that happend. So, she focused on the smoke and made it slowly disappear with her mind. After that she just headed back down the hall. As soon as she walked away she could feel herself still hyped up from the gift. She still needed to burn off some power so she ran down the hallway and out the door. Tears soon started to follow and they fell down her face.
Why am I crying? Aimee thought sadly as she ran even faster down the hallway heading towards the doors that led out into the courtyard. She just wanted to get away from everything and from Addison. She would probably ruin her life now, but Aimee didn't want that at all and then quickly realized she had just asked for it by the little stunt she had just pulled back in the bathroom. "I'm dead" she said sadly as she pushed out the doors and headed out into the brightly lit courtyard.
