power history;;
True was ten years old and sitting in her social studies class. The teacher was droning on about the country of Japan and suddenly, True found herself in a market outside Hiroshima. She was confused, but found that she wasn't lost. She knew what way to go to find a hidden spot to try and teleport back. True failed a few tries but within ten minutes she found herself back in her seat in the fourth grade classroom. The entire room was in uproar for weeks, but like most incidents in elementary school, it was soon forgotten. Well, not totally, Echo now knew of her
daughters strange talents, being the typical flower child.
Once the fourth grade incident was long forgotten, True practiced more and more often without any restrictions from Echo. True tried time and time again to teleport herself into the next room, but the more she tried, the wider the restricted area became. She couldn't teleport herself within fifty feet of her current location. She couldn't be lazy.
True wasn't too great at hiding her ability to others outside her house in a suburb of Detroit. How could she possibly explain just coming out of thin air Japan? She couldn't speak Japanese. So eventually, the government found her and sent a teleporter that went to Sententia to explain the school to True. She was currently enrolled at the local high school as a freshman. Despite everything negative going through True's mind, she accepted a scholarship to the school and a chance to learn more about her abilities.

True Viars has a subtle face. Nothing really stands out and marks her presence in a room. She just blends into the woodwork. This never bothers her because she would rather just coast along high school without too much drama. She's always been ordinary. Attention was never a thing she sought out, so her style reflects it. Her usual style is one of the millions of band t-shirts she bought from the various concerts she's been to. Dressing up was never a fun thing to her. She can't stand the feel of dresses, dress pants never fit right and skirts are just impractical. If formal wear is required, she grumbles and takes pride in ruining everyone elses day. Everyone should be just as miserable
True's soft brown doe eyes match the dark brown of her hair. True's hair has a mind of its own. If her hair is up, it's straight, but if she leaves it down, her brown locks decide they need some wave, reaching past her shoulders. Of course it's not the pretty waves you get with a curling iron that always looks good. If she plans on leaving her hair down, it requires some styling or else it's a mess and looks like her head went through a blender. The blonde highlights streaked through her hair only remain blonde for about a week, the rest of the month, they are the color of her choosing. Sometimes pink, sometimes blue, or maybe even purple.

True Viars is an outgoing personality. She doesn't care to stay in one place for very long. Even stuck in the school drives her insane and she eventually finds a way to teleport to another place for a change of surroundings. Of course, she does always have to come back to the same old scenery though. She's willing to go anywhere and try anything if it means getting a good laugh or meeting exciting people.
Since she would much rather be somewhere else than at the school, she's not in a very good mood and lashes out with her wit and sarcasm. Some find her rude, but she's just cranky from being stuck inside the school grounds when she has the power to go anywhere. She's a pessimistic person most the time in school, but once she's outside the grounds, her mood lightens up instantly and she's not such a grouch.
True always found beauty in things normal people just ignore.
;;_we owe it all to HISTORY
father's name;; George Viars, left when True was four
mother's name;; Echo Kilmin
siblings name;; little sister age 13, Madison Viars
significant other;; single
children's name;; none
others;; her sister Madi has a cat which True abhors with a passion, she's allergic to any animal
True was born to a Flower Child born in the wrong decade. Hence her name. She was an only child for three years of her life and she doesn't remember any of it. All she remembers is the screaming and wailing of her baby sister. But somewhere in those three years, her mother grew up and out of her Hippi ways and Madi got a realistic name.
Echo and George had different viewpoints, Echo was a dreamer, while George was very down to Earth. So the two were consistantly fighting, and then after Madi turned one, George left Echo and her girls and went elsewhere, never to be seen again except the monthly child support payments.
True grew up in a stable houshold. Echo always had a job and was earning enough to keep the family of three floating. True and Madi had nice clothes and a nice house to call their own.
The school had told Echo what happened with True in fourth grade. Echo was torn. She knew that having a daughter that could teleport herself anywhere was not normal, but she also did not want to loose her oldest daughter. So instead of shipping True off to a government facility for testing, she accepted her daughter's oddities and thought nothing else about them. She figured time would straighten out everything. Of course, she was not ready when Madi found out three years later that she could render herself invisible.
The girls promised their mother to keep their abilities to themselves outside the house. No one else was to know about their uniqueness. The two girls grew up with basically normal lives. Except True had to learn to focus her attention on the task she was performing, or else she found herself transported to the place her mind had wandered too. With this great focus she taught herself, she found her average grades rise and she went to the top of her class in middle school.
But she changed everything the summer before her freshman year. She found herself thinking about sushi and the sights of Japan and before she realized what was going on, she had teleported outside her favorite Sushi stand in broad daylight and in front of an audience. She didn't help matters by then teleporting back in front of them. True hadn't teleported within a secured location and she hadn't let her guard down like that in years. She locked herself in her room for a week, convincing herself that all would work out and if someone looked into it, just claim the Japanese people that saw her show would be mistaken for crazy. That didn't work out though, a knock at the front door during dinner proved that. In came another teleporter with news about an academy for teenagers like True. She was offered a scholarship and a place for Madi at Sententia when it was her turn.
Despite the feeling that she was going to loose her daughters, Echo left the decision to True. True didn't take very long to make her decision and a month later, found herself on the grounds of Sententia Academy ready for her freshman classes to start. She didn't feel like an outsider, with every other freshman in the same boat as herself.
True's first years was a success and has returned for her sophomore year. She's ready for just about anything.

rp sample;; The sonic beats from And Then There Were None blasted through the plastic earbuds stuck in her ears, blocked all other noise. She was taught everything last year and did not need the review. The song overpowered the droning voice of the incredibly boring history teacher. The great thing about long hair was that it covered up the wires coming from the iPod nano stuck in her pocket.
True found her attention drawn to the window, the music bring back memories from her multiple visits to England and before she had a chance to breathe, she found herself on a dreary lane in the ancient city of London.
"Shit," True found herself yelling before she was back in her history class in front of a very angry professor. "Sorry Professor, won't happen again," she said very clearly to the class and the professor, "today." She added under her breath.
