Gracie nodded to the song, liking it quite a bit as she listened. She began to look through her drawers, looking for the outfit she would wear the next day. She finally decided on a pair of jeans for her pants, but had a troublesome time deciding on a nice shirt. Yellow with flowers? Purple tunic? Brown with a horse on it? Army camo? As Gracie listened, she compared each shirt with her jeans. Yellow looked....odd, Purple looked nice, Brown looked good, and Army Camo looked stupid. So Gracie folded the yellow and green ones again and put them back in her drawer. Then she compared the brown and the purple again, finally deciding on the purple one and putting the brown one away. She laid the outfit over a chair and left it, looking through her jewelry box to find the right earrings for the next day. She decided she would just go with two peircings in each ear for her first day. She pulled out a set of white wing earrings and purple jeweled studs, taking all the others out. Gracie put the new earrings in and took her liprings out, putting all the excess jewelry back in the jewelry box. She turned and looked at Lola. "Where do I go at the beginning of the day? I haven't been given a shedule yet." Gracie asked Lola, sitting back down on the bed.

"I look around, turn the radio down, he says baby is something wrong? I say nothing, I was just thinking how we don't have a song... " As Lola sang she watched Grace choose something to wear for tomorrow. She knew how it felt, to be new and be in a huge school and not know anyone. She felt for Grace. She wondered if it was worse to be a sophomore and start in a new school rather than a freshman. She didn't want to ask, but it was something that stuck in her mind for an odd reason.
Lola stopped playing and let the last word she sang trail off into the air. She rested her arm on the guitar. "Well, if you don't have your schedule, I suggest you go to the principals' office and get it. Otherwise, you won't know where you're going. As if you don't anyway, but with your schedule you'll know where you're supposed to be." Lola giggled as Grace sent her a playful glare. "I'm only kidding. I'll go with you tomorrow morning, if you'd like, and show you to your classes so you won't get lost."

Gracie nodded as she looked over at her cousin, sighing quietly as her eyes shined with renewed fear. Butterflies settled in her stomach, making her feel like she was going to throw up. But that was just crazy. Always an overdramatic reaction to everything. Gracie sat up in her bed, laid back down, sat up again. She was too fidgety to stay still. Up and down. She moved around the room, doing random things. Finally she just sat back and pulled out her laptop, plugging up the charger to the outlet next to her bed and opening the laptop, starting it up. It loaded and she signed into her messengers, AOL and Yahoo. Almost immediately, messages came up from her friends, asking where she'd been the past few days, what was up, and how she was doing.
She smiled and told her friends things were fine, that she'd moved into a new home and would be away for awhile, and not to worry. Then she logged onto myspace and answered messages there too. "Hey, do they have a dance studio here Lola? Or do I have to practice on my own?" Gracie asked as she closed to laptop, reaching under the bed for her yoga mat.

Lola recognized the look of fear in Grace's eyes. She sighed softly, knowing that just by saying it was going to be okay didn't make it true to Grace. That was one thing Lola had definitely come to learn about her cousin. She raised her eyebrows as her cousin became rather fidgety. "Gracie... chill out." But Grace didn't listen. It was either that, or she just didn't hear her. It happened from time to time with Lola as well, when she was too deep into her thoughts she wouldn't hear anything anyone said. She figured the same went for Gracie.
Lola watched as Grace pulled out her laptop and started typing, rather fast. It ran in their family, it seemed, to have the skill to type really fast, but also have many typos. She smiled at Grace's question. "You have to do it on your own, sweetie," she said with a shrug. She saw Grace's yoga mat and grinned, jumping up from her bed. She ran over, grabbed the yoga mat from Grace's hands, and placed it on the floor between their beds. She sat cross legged on the mat with her hands resting on her knees. "Ohmmmmmm," she said in a deep voice, doing it several other times before laughing.

"Lola!" Gracie shouted, but laughed. With a push, she flew over the bed and caught Lola, knocking her over. The two rolled for a few seconds, wrestling, Lola winning over little Gracie. Until Gracie started tickling Lola. Then Lola collapsed in laughter and Gracie smirked, putting her yoga CD in. It was nice slow and comfortable music, good to relax Gracie while she sat down. First she stretched out her legs, then her arms. Then she did a back bend, stretching out her back and stomach before lifting her legs into the air, doing a handstand. Slowly, she brought herself back down, sitting on her bottom. She smiled at Lola as she began to do her yoga positions, basics then advanced. They were designed for better endurance and flexibility, and helped her relax. She looked over at Lola as she stood perfectly still on one foot, the other stretched out straight behind her, her arms out to the side.
"Daddy gave me this CD for my birthday last year. He said it would be really good for relaxing. And it is. I've listened to it a lot. Sarah started doing yoga with me too. She has so much fun doing it." Gracie brought her leg down, lifting the other one behind her now.
