When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer
When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer

[/size]Katt stared at Steven somewhat awkwardly after his speech. She’d got a little carried away, allowing her frustration and agitation at Tyler’s rejection get the best of her and this had been the outcome. It wasn’t exactly pleasant and Katt wasn’t too much happy with the blood on her hands, metaphorically and literally speaking. Quietly her trembling hand clenched tight in to his shirt and she hid her face in to his shoulder. He’d pulled her to him and she was happy about that, he might not have forgiven her yet but it was a start.
She heard him breathing and smiled hearing his childish words telling her to repeat herself and that he wouldn’t make it easy for her. Her hand tightened as she pressed herself tighter to his side. She peered through her brown locks up at him and smiled faintly. Maybe now wasn’t the time to be acting completely opposite of her usual character, shy and quiet wasn’t Katt’s thing but then again neither was loving someone.
”I said I love you, what’re you deaf?”
She managed to huff and look away from him somewhat stubbornly but this put her eyes in direct contact with Steven’s. Her pride refused to let her look away but ever other muscle and feeling in her body was horrified, disgusted with herself and screaming at her to look away. She wondered if he hated her as much as she hated herself right now and felt the shame burn on her face and taint her blue eyes darkening them to brown once more.
”Steven I…I don’t know what I can tell you to make this right. I was frustrated and feeling worthless I…I never meant to hurt you, you really are a dear friend to me.”
Katt tightened her grip on Tyler’s shirt like a silent warning for him not to overreact and piss her off. Then again who was she to get angry at this point in time? She was the whore here. She swallowed and closed her eyes; she could still hear her father’s voice echoing in her head, his laughter as he whispered ‘look what you’ve done now’. She was always destroying things but she was content with the boy in her arms right now. He was already broken, there was nothing left to destroy when it came to Tyler…he was safe.
”I’m sorry.”
She pursed her lips and rubbed at her face defiant to the end and refusing to let more tears show. What she didn’t factor in was the fact that tears were liquid and coagulated blood only needed something wet to make itself a mess again. She winced and lowered her hand staring at the blood that was now probably smeared on her face. There was nothing else she could say to make this right. She’d wait for Tyler’s verdict.
